I was bored enough yesterday that I made this animation. Partly because I stumbled upon this disaster (I still cry-laugh in embarrassment when I watch it. Though it's more tears than laughter). I wanted to make an animation I wouldn't be terribly embarrassed over haha. So the girl in the older animation (Yarho, which is the namesake for my username) is the same as this one, except she is older here. I'm no animator by any stretch of the word, so this is all frame by frame. Approx. 40 individually drawn frames. I just-- really like animating hair. And hair in general. But damn animating long hair is a pain in the ass. So yeah, there are plenty mistakes here. Somehow her boobs just keep getting bigger towards the end? And she keeps getting farther away?? And I kinda animated her too far to the right so I had to slide her unnaturally to the left to make up for it??? Despite all that I'm rather proud of this. Glad I chose to animate this character, I was going to animate Izzina but she is way too complicated, maybe after I build up enough nerve I'll attempt it.

Program used: Adobe Flash CS4 Professional Est. Time to Complete: Ah. 3-4 hours give or take.

30 Days of Character Development: Day 5

I have chosen three characters whom need to be worked on or expanded further.

Yarhozalikon Queranel'r: I use this character's shortened name as my online alias, created in 2002 and main character of a manga project on hiatus. Started as a fan character for YGO!

Ryusaki (right): From the same series, he quite possibly needs a name change and a less 2-D personality.

Izzina Lazolt: Fantroll for a roleplay SBURB-like homestuck project. My newest character.

5.) What’s your character’s ranking on the Kinsey Scale? 

Yarho

She is a 0 on the scale. All her relationships have been heterosexual. There was a point in time where she entertained the idea of a romantic relationship with a close female friend of hers. This never came to fruition though as the idea only occurred to her because she felt all alone.

Ryusaki

A solid 2 on the scale. He loves his ladies he really does, but every so often he spends his time in the company of young men. Ryusaki hits on both genders equally but he is a ladies man at heart. There has been a young man who he has felt very strongly for over the years. He takes this bond seriously so he does not pursue him in earnest, but he does enjoy teasing him a lot. 

Izzina

Like most trolls she is a 3. She is pansexual as can be seen in her relationship history and crushes over the years. Gender is not a priority to her in relationships, she sees no difference (again, like most trolls). She has a bit of an obsession with the idea of falling in love with a landdwelling prince like her idol the little mertroll. The love she seeks is an ashen relationship. That in itself indicates that she thinks herself a selfless lover. In fact she can be a little more of the selfish neglectful side. Her fascination with the darker side of the romantic quadrants makes it difficult for her to pick up on red romances. This partial blindness lead her to mistaken her first matesprit's advances as pale rather than red.
