Scanning my yarn packaging so once I throw it out I can still cross ref someday if I want it again
also re: crochet
these are the stitches I know and have been able to make hats, afghans, scarves, etc with chain, slip, single, double, half double. knowing how to increase and decrease are both important. specialty stitches I can do if there are instructions on the pattern (there generally are).
