Hey Guys! So uh, funny thing.. It didnt color the yarn? It was lookin all nice and green (oddly enough) but then a cold rinse just went whoosh.. and now its just this

maybe a little more brown than last time but other than that, no color. I wonder if I should've added more salt?

Let me know if you have any experience dying cotton using cabbage! I would love to know where I went wrong so I can try again in the future!

I am so effing mad at myself right now. I felted my merino yarn in the dryer....all because it was still damp despite drying over night and sitting on the deck in the sun this morning. I should have known better....but I dun goofed. The colour way muddied itself yesterday, so I lost the lovely purples and greens in it, and now this. Argh! I just started a new project with Knit Picks Alpaca Cloud and the yarn is breaking like crazy. I can't even finish a row without a break! I'm so bummed because we just left for a weekend trip and was looking forward to a quick knit. Anyone else have problems with this yarn?
