Char's Dragon Age: Origins Adventures
So I was playing Dragon Age, and since I played it a LOT yesterday, I got really far in the Dalish Elf part of the main quest. Like, really far. Made it to the Werewolves' Lair. Btw, the werewolf story is pretty cool, what I've gleaned of it, anyways.
So anyways, going through the forest, and up to the Werewolves' Lair, everything was so EASY. I basically danced about, chopping off werewolf and undead heads like it was no big thing.
Then, shortly after going through the ruins and getting to the legit lair, I noticed a room that had werewolves in it (because of my survival skill). So I thought it would be no big deal, and just waltzed right in. Then, I discovered the Shadow Werewolves, which are basically rogue/assassin type werewolves. I was not expecting it, and got slaughtered. It took many successive attempts at this one fight for me to come up with a good strategy.
And finally, I succeeded. I was so pumped, so I continued on, and sensed some more werewolves nearby. I figured they wouldn't try the same trick twice, so I waltzed right in...and got slaughtered because there were Shadow Werewolves materializing in the middle of the fight again. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. I guess I'll have to continue inching my way through this dungeon, instead of skipping about happily.
