Hello!! I love your work! I want to ask if you can do an angst Yasu takagi x reader where he rejects the reader for Miu Shinoda but before Yasu rejected the reader they had a situation ship that made the reader end up pregnant and Yasu only finds out years later after he married. It is optional if you want to make it more happy or more sad! (I hope this makes sense 😁😅). Thank you and bye!!
I'll never leave you
Manga/anime: Nana
Warnings: nothing
(Y/N): your name
I'll never leave you, he had said.
Sure, they hadn't been engaged when he had said it -years and years ago, when they were still in school-, yet she had truly hoped he meant that phrase in a romantic sense, not just a friendly one. Clearly, she was wrong: Yasu would be marrying the beautiful Miu in a few days.
(Y/N) had been repeating it, sometimes quietly, sometimes in her head, for a week, since she had heard the news.
He hadn't even had the courage to tell her in person: she had found it out from third parties, accidentally overhearing a conversation between Shin and Nobu, the witnesses -after a thousand insistences, from what she had been able to overhear-.
What a coward, after everything they had been through, he hadn't even invited her.
After everything that had happened between them, after what they had done that night!

The alcohol had warmed (Y/N)'s stomach and made her thoughts lighter. The glass had been empty for a while, but she continued to grip it like an anchor. The place was almost deserted, the music low, as tired as she was.
Yasu sat across from her, his elbows on the table, his gaze calm behind his glasses. He had been watching her for a while without saying anything, as he knew her well enough to know sooner or later she would have speak: she always did, when she drank too much.
Yet, he was the first to break the silence, with that firm voice he never raised: "You shouldn't drink like that".
She laughed softly, looking at him as if searching for something on his face: "You always say that".
And maybe it was the alcohol, or maybe just the tiredness of holding back, but the words came out anyway: "I love you, Yasu".
He remained silent, not since he didn't understand, but because he didn't know what was right to say: it wasn't the first time he had noticed that feeling, but perceiving it like that, naked, had made him uncomfortable.
He stood up and took the glass from her hands.
"You're drunk -He said softly- and vulnerable." The woman lowered her gaze, as if those words hurt more than a direct rejection.
Yasu sighed. He didn't want to hurt her, but he couldn't lie about his love either, so he walked her out.

The night air made (Y/N) dizzy, so Yasu slowed his pace.
He was always close, that was her problem: the man was always there, even when he shouldn't have been. How could she not fall in love with him?

At her house, (Y/N) sat on the edge of the bed, tired, her shoulders hunched, seeming smaller, more fragile that way; Yasu stood still in front of her.
He lifted her chin with two fingers, an instinctive gesture, protective but not romantic.
"I don't love you as much as you'd like -He said honestly- but I care about you." She didn't answer, she just looked at him, her eyes shining, filled with an affection that asked for nothing in return.
And that was precisely what made him give in: he didn't refuse her kiss. It was a surrender, a letting himself be carried away by something warm, human, which for one night seemed enough.
The woman clung to the man as if he were all she had, and he didn't push her away.
That night, the world outside remained behind that closed door, the unspoken truths, the asymmetries, the unbalanced feelings, everything was put aside.
That night, Yasu stayed, not out of love, but because he didn't have the courage to leave.

"Mom?"
"Yes, Mizue?"
"Who is that man over there? He's been staring at us for a while."
"Yasu..."
The drummer had never truly deceived her: she had always been the one filling the silences, reading promises in distracted glances, transforming a constant presence into a possible future. His 'I'll never leave you' had meant 'I'll stay', not 'I'll choose you'.
(Y/N) wondered if Yasu had ever suspected the truth, if he had understood how much that phrase, said so lightly, had dug deep inside her.
Maybe yes, maybe no.
In any case, she didn't care anymore, because that promise had been broken years before.
