Sense & Sensibility/General Life UPDATE

So like I said yesterday I haven't had time to finish S&S quite yet although I plan on getting it done tonight or tomorrow. I have chapters 41-50 left (or 46 pages) and I already read 36-40 today. I hope to have no more than 5 chapters for tomorrow if I end up having to leave any (which would only happen if it starts to get late because my sleep schedule is so screwed up and blah blah blah I need to fix it). If you want the why behind my lack of being done with it yesterday that's what everything after the "read now" will be about (although I will probably mention a shorted version in the next couple days since it will impact how much I'm posting).

HEY QUICK UPDATE THAT I FORGOT TO MENTION: I'M HOPING FOR US TO START PRIDE AND PREJUDICE THE COMING MONDAY (the 24th)! IF YOU'RE SEEING THIS LATE THEN NO WORRIES! JUST DO YOUR BEST TO CATCH UP! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU WANT TO JOIN SO I CAN ADD YOU TO THE PARTICIPANTS LIST! I HAVEN'T DIVIDED IT UP YET (but it will be something like 6 chapters, 5 days a week) BUT I WANT TO TRY FOR FINISHING IT WITHIN TWO WEEKS AGAIN!

Since I go to martial arts Monday-Friday (unless they're closed) he drives me most nights.. Luckily for him the guy who owns the place happens to live in our neighborhood and so he often gives me a ride back and while my parents are gone he offered to give me rides there too which means I'm leaving at about 2:45pm (instead of 7) and getting home anywhere between 8:30-10pm so since I'm gone for 6+ hours I haven't been able to get the reading done in addition to other school, working out, and whatever else I need to get done that day.

You may ask why I'm not just reading while I'm there.. The answer to that is because I've helped out a little with random things and it's just too loud for me to be able to focus on freaking Jane Austen.

Also this past Wednesday he suggested I try and see how I like helping with the kids which has kind of been a possibility since July when a position opened up.. The reason it's taken so long for it to get closer to happening is because A. I'm 15 aka underage for working (legally) in Illinois (dumb IL) and B. because they were trying to find someone with more experience/a black belt but since I'm only orange (although I should get my green belt in about 2 months give or take) and that's 6 belts away from black (however the adult class has weapons unlike the kiddos so I'm still farther than some of the kid black belts) it never really got past the idea stage until now.

My understanding as to why he's even considering it is because I can learn at least a little while I teach, he apparently thinks I'm really good (which I'm really not), and I was told he thinks I have a "good head her (my) shoulders". So basically I'll be trying that out a little next week and if I like it and don't suck at/kill children doing it, it will probably become permanent (at least until whatever happens with NZ happens). 

Sorry that ended up so long but I figured I'd update you guys a little with that. I am still doing the read-along(s) for sure but I might need to make the amounts of reading a bit shorted or just fucking stop procrastinating.
