Day 23/24 + More stuff
Today, my original bet partner and I have officially added web-comics, other comics, and cartoons to the list of not-allowed stuff, with the reasoning that they are really similar to manga and anime, and might as well be the same for the purposes of our bet. There goes more loopholes D: Almost lost today, since we hadn’t officially gone over these factors, I had been reading a couple off web-comics every once in a while, and she just happened to see me, so now these are also on the list officially. Otherwise though, the bet’s going okay. I have a bit of work to do, so I have things to do with my time, or at least things I should be doing with my time. More random stuff! XD This next insert will be more of just random facts and stuff about me that you wouldn’t otherwise know. Will be continuing, starting with 11. 11) I am Chinese, well technically I’m mostly Taiwanese, but most people don’t know the difference. Language wise, most people can speak mandarin either way, and I don’t speak any Taiwanese either way so yea… I'll just stick to: "I'm asian." 12) Inb4, I used to take both piano and violin lessons. I took lessons for about 10-11 years, and although I’d always been too lazy and wasn’t really into music enough to really truly practice well, I really enjoy playing, and consider myself… okay. I’m not great, but having been playing for such a stretch of time, it’d be kinda sad if i didn’t learn anything. 13) I’m a first year at UCSD (currently 3rd quarter) and my major is Computer Engineering (CSE) but I’m not really sure what I want to do with my life. CSE is interesting, but I’m not entirely sure where my passion lies. I’m planning to see where this takes me first, and if by chance something I love passionately comes across my path, I’ll weigh my options, and hopefully give it a shot. 14) I’ve started baking/cooking since coming here to UCSD. I find the process of making the food pretty enjoyable, but most of all, I love when other people eat my food. Every time I bake (cookies, scones, etc), I get to feel the satisfaction of other people eating and enjoying my cooking. Suite mates and house mates (c.g. included), enjoy the food I bake, and that’s all I need in return. 15) I don’t have an actual “favorite color” to speak of. While other people have a clear “I like ,” I don’t. I like many hues of blues, greens, natural oranges, reds, and yellows, as well as grey. Clothing-wise, I only really feel comfortable wearing non-stand-out-ish blues, greens, grays and black, because that’s just my personality type. I don’t have a problem with any other colors, it’s just that wearing bright colors makes me feel exposed and vulnerable because I don’t like feeling like I’m being put in the spotlight. aaannnnd that’s gonna be it for today. Hopefully it wasn’t too long;I don’t mean to bore anyone, not that I expect anybody to be reading this anytime. Time stamp: 02:46 AM; 4/24/’13
