10 years in the future and you'll find me still posting about "its okay not to be okay" and talking about how good it is because it's seriously unmatched...
So finally starting Psycho but it’s okay so far i am in love with the potential for this drama to be good. The fairytales aspect of it is making me so excited and I really hope I can analyse using them. I hope we can go into more depth using them as a tool for the storyline but I’m not yet sure if that’s what they’re for or if they’re just used to shadow the episode they’re named for. Like The boy who fed on nightmares is about Sangtae in a subtex way and the lady with the red shoes is Moo Yong, however these stories don’t foreshadow anything or like help with analysis of what’s going to happen what we get from them so far is that Sangtae is plagued by nightmares from the situation about his mums murder which were still not yet sure what he saw likewise it probably is connected to Moo yong’s incident with her father and mom. Because she’s a connected with killing butterflies and making Gang Tae run however if the butterflies are scary isn’t her heartlessly killing them showing she’s helping them as well? It’s like her personality antisocial or not is destined to provide some sort of peace to these two brothers by her being her self even though she thinks she’s a monster!! And the girl with the red shoes is about obsession I don’t think MYs obsession for Gang Tae is romantic yet I think it’s as she said obsession she needs him now she believes to be braver, better and she’s fascinated with him. She sees him as an object so far and to be honest that’s probably where her love will stem from his ability to still care for her even though she’s not meant to receive care cause she doesn’t need it like others do. So the red shoes is poignant and noble not for love but for fascination. I’ll research more into the fairy tales and I’ll let you know what else I think about it. So far I’m enjoying this / here’s to hoping it stays that way
