It's humid and 95° out...

I have to wait until the sun goes down to go upstairs to my office (where my computer/tablet are) because it's above 102° up there.

Thank gawds I'm a night owl and I have stuff I can work on by drawing in my sketchbook for the time being.

one time I made an OC for inuyasha that was a ram demon and she was really cute. she was in love with kouga but yeah. obvious why that wouldn’t really work

In ye old Germany, no matter how obvious the evidence was, you could choose to have a trail by combat, where two parties fought in the absence of a witness. In essence, it was a judicially sanctioned duel. It remained in use throughout the European Middle Ages, gradually disappearing in the course of the 16th century. In 1818, an Englishman was accused of murder claimed the right to trial by combat. To everyone's surprise, the law granting him that right was still valid, and he was acquitted when his accuser declined to appear on the "field of honor." Trial by combat was abolished the next year after that.
