so today in anthro we were talking about biological reductionism which is basically a theory that supports racism saying that different cultures/people can't be as advanced as others because of genetics

and then we were talking about how racism is a social construct and clines are a much better way to differentiate between people because, ex. there is no line between norway and west africa where people go from white to black

basically science is perpetuating racism rather than helping end it and that makes me upset as a scientist
