Ok, home again, doing good (all things considered. Can only do so good post migraine and the stress of my first time going to hospital like that after all).
Still a bit of a headache but I think it's all from my shoulders and back (I sat on various piss poor hospital seats for 4 hours all in all, of course it would kill the usually whiny body parts 😂). Haven't eaten anything proper since lunch around 1pm (it is now 3 am on the dot as in writing this sentence). I am soooo exhausted.
In the end we never got help. The migraine basically stopped being a thing while I sat there so it just felt useless to stay. God knows how long we would have ended up waiting, and in the end of it all the thing that needed checking was over anyway. It didn't seem we were gonna get help any time soon and it didn't really feel needed anymore, you know? And all the noise and coughing from others and everything else just started stressing me out so bad as my head got clear and I was no longer doing particularly poorly, so we asked to go home.
We went in the first place cause that was one of the all time worse migraines I've had and nothing really helped. It even got worse after all the painkillers I took. Obviously this scared me so we called for guidance and they called us an ambulance so welp guess we're going 🤷 and that's how I ended up with my first ever ambulance ride and emergency hospital visit.
Got our ride home covered too, even though we weren't supposed to, so that was very nice of them. The taxi driver was a very nice man! And all the ambulance people and nurses were really nice, which was a very nice change of pace from my usual dealings with medical staff.
Now to eat something and then finally get some INCREDIBLY needed rest. 🫠🫠🫠
