These are my Lowa Ticam GTX boots. These boots are the best! Since I've owned these boots my feet have been dry and comfortable. These boots were ready to use straight out of the box.(no breaking in required.) I love these boots for so many reasons but the main reason is because they are super comfortable and light even when they get wet. This boot fits extremely well, most notably when braking down steep descents. I have not noticed any excessive movement, whether the boots are laced more loosely, or when I have them cranked down. The ankle support is really amazing, which is a must have for anyone. Any substantial lateral movement forces the wearer to pick up their heel, rather than flexing the ankle greatly. I purchased the Ticam size 10.5, when I typically wear a size 10. This is classic old school NZ thru and thru, when I first came across it I knew I needed to get a picture, when I was a boy these old Land Rovers were the common farm vehicles of NZ reliable and solid. Most are now rusting away and hidden out of sight in far flung corners of rural New Zealand. The wire cage on the bonnet is a #hungi basket and to the right of the #landrover is a Hungi Pit. This was the homestead and my friends Craig and Mel's house was still a 20-30 minute walk up the hill from here. They have the most hard out driveway I've ever seen I wouldn't have been able to make it up in my Ranger.
