Unpopular opinion(?): I know this might get taken the wrong way but I think a lot of people in the selfship community are ruining the experience for themselves because they care too much about others / what others think and focus on pointless stuff. Like how others perceive their selfship, the amount of attention / validation they receive, what anyone might say about their f/o or etc.

At the end of the day this should be a source of comfort and joy, not a cause for stress or competition. When we start obsessing over every little detail and comparing ourselves to others, it can really take the fun out of it.

And I say this as someone who has also struggled with these feelings a lot, I know how easy it is to get caught up in the small stuff. But I promise that distancing yourself from it and focusing solely on your selfship can make a huge difference.

Let's try to remember why we started selfshipping in the first place and make it a positive experience for ourselves ♡
