So I think anybody's who's both seen the Tangled the Series episodes 'Queen for a Day' (2017), and knows the basic premise of Frozen (2013) can tell they have a few similarities; The most obvious being that in both Frozen and QFAD, a blizzard/winter of magical origins begins in the middle of spring/summer, and is then resolved by the end of the movie/episodes.

Now, I've been very into Tangled the Series for several months straight at this point, and a week or two ago I rewatched Frozen for the first time since I was like 6 and oh my GOD. I am now 99% convinced the people in charge of writing QFAD used Frozen as a reference😭

To start with, this one isn't quite as visually obvious as the next three examples I have, but in both of these scenes Person A (Rapunzel and Elsa) is in a castle/palace they reside in, and Person B (Varian and Anna) had to run through a blizzard to get there. Person B then pleads for Person A to go somewhere with them (Anna pleads with Elsa to come back to Arendelle, and Varian pleads with Rapunzel to come to Old Corona) only for their efforts to be unsuccessful, and then Person B is forcefully removed from the castle/palace. (Varian is dragged out by the guards, and Anna is chased out by Marshmallow)

Second of all, these shots are clearly very visually similar, but to add even more to that, both take place during a musical number (Let It Go for Frozen, and Let Me Make You Proud for QFAD), and both people have just run away from their homes. (albeit, for different reasons)

Additionally, Let It Go and Let Me Make You Proud also have a similar underlying message of how the singer has changed/is going to change. Let It Go has the lyric "That perfect girl is gone," and Let Me Make You Proud has the lyric "I will prove that the way I used to be is all in the past."

Next, in both of these scenes a horse runs through the gates of their kingdom after being involved in an accident. (For Frozen, Anna fell off and lost her horse, and for QFAD, the ropes connected to the carriage the king and queen were riding in snapped, sending them off a mountain)

This then leads to the realization that something bad has happened and person/people involved are in danger. (its not obvious in that specific screenshot but Maximus is standing to the lefthand side of the Captain of the Guard)

And then there's this.

Are we SERIOUS. LOOK AT THE POSES. LOOK AT THEM.

In case (no pun intended) it wasn't already obvious, in both of these scenes Person A (Anna and Quirin) is stuck fully still (Anna is frozen solid, and Quirin is incased in amber) after sacrificing themselves (Anna jumped in front of Hans's sword swinging at Elsa, and Quirin threw Varian out of the way of the quickly expanding amber) for Person B (Elsa and Varian). Person B is sitting on the ground beside Person A, and the circumstances that led to Person A getting frozen/incased happened because of a mistake Person B made. (Elsa lost control of her powers and hit Anna in the heart with them, and Varian made and spilled the alchemical solution the amber grew from)

And all this doesn't even get into the similarities Frozen and TTS as a whole have💔

Think about it skylar is outcasted by his parents being the powerless child, so what if eggman after seeing this more than enough tried to win skylar over..yet not with cookies or such.

Going about his manipulation and drawing in this already broken kid, telling him:

"Without power..or love.., oh my boy..you don't have to cry no more I can gift you all the power you want.., why don't you make your parents proud..with my help?"

Ofcourse with eggman for once seeing the struggle and giving skylar a false hope.., the kid would immediately say yes, cause he'd be as great as his sister and be seen by his parents

Odette does not seem happy & I suppose it's the nanny who also went with them that took the pic.The nannies go everywhere with the kids. If you look at the other years, those long posts have Genevieve all over it in style. Rich's post is snarky. He always uses digs as humor. He likes the guys but he doesn't like BS & when he smells BS he will give a dig. Cause he is a pragmatic sort. They had to take care of Jared that whole Monday too because Jared had stayed in Rome & stayed with them. I don't think Richard is the kind that thinks breakdowns & venting are solutions to anything. He will help like he did but he won't pity you, he will give a dig cause in his eyes adults have to adult & that's on you.

Anon thank you for the ask. This is EXACTLY my point. This doesn't read as a total joke to me or a troll. It feels kind of misplaced on a Mother's Day post, you know? Of course, oblivious fans believe this is all just for shits and giggles; this reads very different to me, an underlying message hidden behind a so called "joke". I 💯 agree with your assessment of Rich's presumably. I think they ALL know what's going on. If you go look at the posts Mark's wife made of their daughter meeting Jared, Jensen, etc., her caption with Jared reads differently, the most affectionate. I'm telling you, they all know at this point what's going on, every single one...

Also, one of my friends sent me this clip from JIB. Jared's body language and facial expressions as Rich tells a story about Gen around 9:02. Hmmmm...

Also, can we talk about the fact as of 7:12am EST, Gen has YET to comment or even like Jared's mother's day post BUT Gen the most certainly made sure she acknowledged Odette's birthday a couple hours after Jared made this "lovely" mother's day post.

Meanwhile, other years Gen either liked (2024, 2023, 2022) and/or even commented (2025, 2020) on Jared's Mother's Day posts. This year, there ain't shiiiiiit lol. I'm just saying....

I got really obsessed with Jaytim!AU where Jason is his pre-crisis version (a blond kid from the circus with loving parents Joseph and Trina Todd) who was then adopted (warded) by Dick as he wanted originally and Tim is his TNBA version (a kid from the streets + a criminal dad lol)
