Evening coffee

Joka x Ghadius, pretty short around 300 or so words. I was embarrassed the entire time but in a good way! Writing isn't one of my main hobbies.

Pls lmk what you think and if you like have any ideas or anything I dont know I am not a fanfics guy but I would like to be.

“Lord Ghadius?”

“Mm?” Ghadius looked up, and then down to his right. “Joka.” He shut the book he’d been reading and set it aside. “You look troubled.”

“Ahahah… Yes, er…” Joka fidgeted as he tried to think of the least embarrassing way to get what he wanted to say across. “As you know I was given the task of your evening coffee! And it’s been…”

Ghadius’s expression remained unchanged, studying Joka’s behavior. “Twenty minutes to the second.”

Joka gave up on preserving his dignity, and led Ghadius to the scene of the crime. “I can’t reach the coffee beans!” He gestured upwards. “I don’t know how, but they were placed higher than I can even get to! They taunt me…” Joka clenched his fist and shook it… then turned back to his lord and focused on the situation at hand. “So I have not been able to begin the process.”

Ghadius chuckled softly at Joka’s show of frustration. “I see. This must be quite the challenge for you.” He leaned over and reached his hand down to a confused Joka. “Allow me to give you a hand.”

“Wha… HAH!” Joka laughed at Ghadius’s corny pun before shyly hopping onto his hand.

“I’m sure you’ve noticed by now.” Ghadius brought Joka close to his face, causing Joka to turn away bashfully. “I played this little trick on you.” He kissed his funny little guy on the forehead.

“Heheh… hehe…” Joka clasped his hands together and swooned! “Lord Ghadius!!!” He fell over in Ghadius’s hand, giggling.

Ghadius smiled, just reveling in the moment for a little while. “I appreciate your dedication, my Joke.” He set Joka back down on the floor and began making his own coffee, the Joka sized utensils and appliances looking silly in his hands. “Twenty minutes is an obsurd amount of time to spend running about aimlessly though. Come to me faster next time.”

“Yes, my lord!”

newt is swapped with hannibal and goes by “dart” as in poison dart frog, hermann is the marshall, they have a love hate relationship involving herm being very cross at “dart” for being a criminal besides the black market work 

“dart” acts like a tough crime boy when it’s just a mask he has on to seem tougher than a 5′7 squishy man normally would seem, and herm acts more stern and cold as marshall, both of them have softer nerdier insides but they just can’t really trust anyone enough to drop the act for more than a moment 

also they have at least one moment where they don’t know if they wanna punch the other in the face or make out
