Vacation. Holiday. Just some time away from the base. He had not expected something monumental, maybe some dust gathering in his office. What he had not expected, at all, was his workdesk cleared from all paperwork, his writing utensils sorted by his own preference, and the bottle wrapped in thick brown paper on his desk. He smiled as the door clicked shut behind him again.
Sweetheart are you doing okay?
We're actually pretty good :D
sorry its been a while, we've been busy and when we werent busy we procrastinated
Updates and Christmas commissions!!!
Hey guys! Long time no talk, let me catch you up on some basics and my new schedule!
been a hot minute
“--Um, so....” he said slowly. Someone please help him. Of all people he wanted to hide his identity from, this one was definitely the hardest. He rationalized that it was likely for the best, as he couldn’t tell EVERYONE close to him that he was a superhero for their own safety. After all, how many times has that put his own family at risk? People like Titus or someone worse (but who could be worse than the space tiger that took his father away?) could target them and they would be defenseless. Spotting trouble in a big city was much more difficult than in Carefree. “You found a lead on this NOVA guy and his identity?”
Please say ‘No, I didn’t. I was kidding!’ However, Sam knew that wasn’t going to be said, right?
Hi tumblr
I'm not sure if I see the entire image, or if I see so closely in, it's hard to tell if it's a cell or a universe I am in but most likely I am lost. Gently the rain beats the window of my eyes and I wonder if I can retrace the same lines, the patterns, to learn how to do it right and good, like I once thought I should, or if it's all done and gone. Gone like the paper I burned that night I sat on the crag above the church, the morning dew dampening and slowing the fire into a soft burn, a snake turning into scales a bird changing into feathers, small things from big things and pieces of the whole.
If I bit into chocolate so slowly my teeth rotted through and I could taste what it feels like to love you, maybe I could still sense what you knew, that you we're never there for me and you. The buried soul is rising along with the sky claiming sun, the greatest sum, my price is the taste on my tongue, the yellow of the memories of who I was.
It's not me anymore. It's no longer the gentle hum of my heartbeat, it's the aching void of comfort, it's the gentle call of the grave. Bury me in the crag, the soft round stones caressing me, the rainwater washing me, the sunlight reaching me, the ice freezing me, I want to be held by the stones until I am dust. Shape me into a soft husk, and I'll leave it empty, translucident, a gentle opaque skeleton, an organless being. - Irini Arana
