I’ll never get over the fact that izzy cornered Ed when he was alone and vulnerable and made him believe that all his worst fears were true. That he’s a monster, that there is no one he can truly trust and that he’ll never get to be just Edward.

harrow really was born and then decided to never let the truth about anything come out of her mouth ever
YEAHRIGHT!
So @tulipintulle for reasons unknown thought I would be too cowardly to post a clip of me singing for everyone to hear.
Idk why. I’ve done far worse than sing for podfics.
But here’s a quickly done terrible quality clip from outside of my work on my cell phone.
Because I like to win. 😌💖
Name: “Hermit crab” (allegedly)
Debut: Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze
You know me. I love snails. I love crabs. And so, like any fan of both snails and crabs, I also love hermit crabs!
That’s why you know that when I say this is NOT a hermit crab, it is with no ill will whatsoever against hermit crabs. I just want the truth to be known!
These aquatic invertebrates appear during the boss battle with Fugu the Frightening in the level Fugu Face-Off, and I quite like their inclusion! It’s a fun, natural way of making the edges of the area dangerous, without just addin any ol’ spikes.
But... hermit crabs? Are you SURE about that, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze Prima Official Game Guide?
It’s true, all we see are the shell and a pair of cartoon eyes, so from that alone, it would be impossible to tell whether this is a cartoon snail or a cartoon hermit crab. So let’s look further!
These creatures stick to walls and ceilings! Though hermit crabs have many delightful abilities, sticking to walls and ceilings is not one of them, and they must leave that to the smaller arthropods who don’t care about gravity. Snails however, do possess the delightful ability of adhering to any surface they please, just like this! Also, toward the top we can see a baby between the yellow and pink ones, which doesn’t even have its eyes visible, as if it’s retreated entirely into its shell. Hermit crabs can’t entirely retreat, there’d be some leg visible!
Speaking of which... there is no leg on these creatures whatsoever! As we can see from this entirely-detached specimen, no leg is visible even when we can see the bottom, and this is not just an empty shell, since the eyes are still there, albeit closed!
In conclusion, the Prima official game guide has spread misinformation for far too long. You deserve to know the truth: that these gorilla-sized invertebrates are not hermit crabs. That would just be unrealistic.
