angrytransblogger replied to your post: Japanese people are very careful in their speech and the way they refer to themselves and others. Sometimes they use personal pronouns that are for certain genders. Watashi wa is very common and used for both but such cases as “ore wa" or “boku wa" is male oriented. Watch the anime or read the raws and try to find a romaji translation and keep an eye on that. That’s a personal statement of their own gender and the one they identify with.
also nonbinary people DO EXIST in cultures that have very binary language and THEY CAN USE GENDRED WORDS TO DISCRIBE THEMSELFS AND IT DOESNT MAKE THEM BINARY
