RUTH AND NAOMI (2020), 7" x 10"
2020 was quite the year to graduate after four years from what me and my peers affectionately(?) called "digihell", straight into a world from some Netflix disaster movie. If I'd had 2020 visions, i honestly don’t if I’d still be here, but I am here and will continue to kick ass. I watched my graduation from the check out lane in Costco so drawing this was now was a more satisfying end of all that for me. It feels really good to have more distance between me and all the amazing artists I went to school with. Somewhere along the way we went from being each other's cheerleaders and support group to BIG OOf and competition under all the stress and the things going on in the world. But all there is is forward now and I've determined even if its hella dark again I'll bring my own light.

Oh... oh no...
With the way 2020's been I feel like at the end of it, on New Year's Eve we should all collectively be singing What If Tomorrow from Starkid's Black Friday on the exact time so that it ends on exactly midnight...
Can 2020 just end??
