TWO WEEKS UNTIL JJK MOVIE
all he ordered was a side of fries
Honestly I’ve been in a crisis lately wondering if I’m pan or actually bi
Thank you for your patience nonny, I simply didn’t have the time to properly answer your ask before.
I’ll be honest I’m not sure how to answer this since I’m not sure if there’s a question in here. I know that I, personally, do not really see a difference between bi and pan. As I’m sure you know given that I reblogged this post right before you sent this ask. I know that I get frustrated with all of these... continued new sexual orientations like omnisexual and polysexual (not to be confused with polyamory which means having relationships with more than one person at the same time) because I fear that it’s just dividing our queer community into smaller and smaller factions, splintering us, and confusing people.
(Please note I’m just a random woman, with her own opinion. I have studied queer theory, I have done a lot of research on queer history and the queer community, and so I like to flatter myself that I am not coming from a place of total ignorance.
However, my opinion is just my opinion.)
At the end of the day, you go with what makes you feel comfortable. And it’s okay if what makes you feel comfortable right now changes later in life. Just because you might later decide that you identify differently doesn’t negate or erase the way you feel right now, okay?
Sexuality is confusing. And it’s different for every individual. That’s what matters most.
So if you think that “I am attracted to all genders/gender doesn’t have a factor in attraction to me” fits you better than “I am attracted to genders both like and unlike myself,” then go ahead and say you’re pan! Or if it’s the other way around, then go ahead and say you’re bi!
Personally, I often say ‘queer’ in place of ‘bi’ because I sometimes get shit for being bi. Straight people can’t seem to get it through their heads that when I say I don’t want to have sex with Henry Cavill or Chris Evans that I actually fucking mean it, and gay/lesbian people can’t seem to get it through their heads that yes, I do want to bang men! And then there’s all the REALLY fun people saying being bi means you’re transphobic! And that’s BEFORE you take into consideration the fact that I’m kind of? maybe? demisexual when it comes to men? Because I need a personal/emotional connection to the man to want to fuck them, personality is a huge factor, but it’s not? With other genders? IT’S CONFUSING. SO SOMETIMES I JUST SAY QUEER.
You see what I mean, dear nonny? It’s frustrating and confusing. And not everyone’s quite sure what they are. So what matters is that you sit for a while and think about what word just makes you feel comfortable, okay? Maybe one week you want to say bi, maybe another week you want to say pan. That’s okay! Go for it, I say!
You, my sweet fluffy duckling, do not need to be twisting yourself into knots over this, okay? No matter what the internet tries to tell you. Learn what pan is, learn what bi is, and then just go with what feels right to you. And if you don’t know, if you still feel torn, it’s okay to say “I’m questioning.” I mean hell that’s what the word ‘queer’ is for but if you don’t want to use that, you are perfectly valid for saying “I’m not sure how to label myself yet.” You are not straight, and frankly, that’s all it’s anyone’s business to know. You can say “I don’t have a label.” You can say, “I don’t want to label myself yet.”
And so on.
Because at the end of the day all that people in the queer community need to know is that you are not straight. You are not a cis, heterosexual, heteroromantic person. That’s it! That’s all you need to belong to this community. So it’s okay if you don’t know yet. It’s okay if you’re not sure what label you want. It’s okay if you like one label now and like another label better later on.
You are still valid, and you are still welcome here. You still belong.

“Let me guess, I should ‘see the other guy’?” ( o/ )
" Yeah, exactly. I roughed em up quite a bit, huh? " Ramsey winces as Miguel grabs her arm. " Jeez, you're definitely not a doctor. That hurts! " There's a huge gash in her arm, and her suit is torn in multiple places. " Why you have to be so rough with me, huh?." It almost feels like he's purposely not being gentle. Which, come to think of it, makes complete sense. She huffs and scowls as Miguel continues to look at her injuries. " Hurry up. I don't have all day. "
