The Scientist vs the Magic Man
"Let’s see….I have calculated the rate of the warp drive and the velocity of the passover rate based on this data and divided it against the span of the dates per person per unit of time and multiplied it with the rate of the stream of people per dimensional rifts…."
The young mistress of the intellectual design was busy going over her notes as she sat on a lone bench with the large piece of paper before her. It was full of intertwining equations and numbers and letters that really made sense to two people, Maybelle herself and her trusty rotom assistant, Gadget. She leaned back a little and growled with much frustration. “Why can’t I figure this out!” Gadget squraked softly, worried at how much Maybelle was worrying about this whole warping foasco.
If only there was a simple way to solve how it was done, then maybe Maybelle could reverse it.
It was such a bright and beautiful day out! The sun was shining and the pidoves were chirping. Noir hated days like this. The Witch boy walked along with a scowl. All these people walking around the park looked so damn pleased with themselves. It made him sick. How could so many people be laughing and smiling when space-time had been turned on it's head. Noir pulled his hat down more over his face to block the sun form getting in his eyes.
Luna was sitting on his shoulder and noticed how grumpy he was being. The purrloin purred and rubbed her little face on his cheek to cheer him up. She managed to get a smile out of him, but that was it.
Feet hurting from the walking, he spotted a bench out of the corner of his eye and sat down. it was only after he was seated that he noticed it's other occupant. He turned to look at the girl muttering over a sheet of paper with numbers and letters in various places. Was that some kind of recipe for a potion or something?
" Hey." He grumbled. " What the hell is that?" He asked pointing at the paper. It really wasn't his busyness but the Witch boy had never seen numbers like that.
