Headcannon InuYasha is actually a good cook and kagome gets a little jealous that his cooking is better than hers
I ACCEPT THIS!! XDDD It’s good or either au OR canon too! And of course Inuyasha knows he’s good, so he can’t help but boast a little since I’d imagine if in an AU with parents still alive, he’d learn from the best cook he knows, his mother and if they were gone, he’d have to inevitably teach himself so it was a skill he had to learn.
For canon, it’s the same thing. He had to survive and to do that he had to cook by way of trial and error.
