With a basket full of delectable baked goods, freshly picked fruits, chicken salad sandwiches, and even piping hot soup in a thermos draped around his fingers, Ruki approached the Avenel mansion in a confident stride. Sunlight filtered through the surrounding trees, casting shadowy patterns along the paved path leading to their front door. The scent of honeysuckle and lavender floated on the breeze to compliment the hummingbirds singing their morning tune, fluttering about the cloudless blue skies. Foliage, the same color as her radiant emerald eyes, stretched as far as the eye can see along the sides of the rather luxurious looking building home only to his beloved.

Picnic blanket in the other hand, Ruki eagerly knocked on the door hoping Irina would answer. On such a fine spring day, the Vampire wore the same couture blazer that Irina gifted him on Valentine’s Day as well as the golden puzzle bracelet that signified their unbreakable union around his wrist. It gleamed beautifully where the rays of light illuminated its metal outline, reminiscent of his lover’s champagne locks. When the Vampiress greeted him, he showed her a sincere smile before leaning in for a quick kiss.

“Good morning, Irina. I was hoping you might join me for a picnic on your day off.”

With such a beautiful and sunny day completely clear, letting the Sun have its shining and warm prominence on that blue background like some pretty flourished periwinkles, Irina was settled on a large black bean bag in the living room to enjoy her day off. And what better way to enjoy that calm still in your pajamas lying down and just drinking your cappuccino, without doing anything else?

Alone at home, silence abounded in the manor -more to her liking- being able to only perceive the song of the small wild birds animate the leafy forest whose leaves danced among themselves due to the gentle breeze that incited them to murmur like the choir for the birds. Soon, that natural concert was interrupted by soft taps on the heavy wood of the front door that caught the blonde's attention. Getting up with some laziness, the vampiress walked slowly even dragging her feet a little through the wood until she reached the entrance of the mansion and, after standing in front of the door, she took the knob to open it and be able to meet her beloved partner. "Oh! Ruki! What a surprise that you came today unannounced, but it makes my heart happy that you decided to pay me a visit." The young woman smiled sweetly at the short quick kiss that left her longing to feel more of that contact that made her feel that both bodies would melt from so much passion to become one.

A few quick blinks, her curled lashes gently brushing against those of her lower lid from the impact opening and closing like curtains to protect the sparkling green gems that watched in awe. It didn't take long for Irina to smile sideways and then raise a hand that soon touched the tip of his nose with her index finger, full of amusement. "Are you asking me out on a date, are you~?" She teased in a playful tone before letting out a giggle. "Sounds interesting, and it's a splendid day for it, so why not?" Arching the corners of her lips more to show a dazzling smile, the one with golden hair like the rays of the sun looked up and down the body of the jet black-haired man carefully. Her eyes widened a little more when she noticed in it the gifts she gave him on Valentine's Day, and that act quickly caramelized the blonde woman's heart with tenderness and adoration as she appreciated that detail that clearly showed her affection and dedication. "You look spectacular today huh, Cœur~ In addition to being very comfortable, it shows that the temperature is somewhat warm." She commented looking up and gently slid her hand down the Mukami's right cheek. "I'll go change quickly into something suitable, then. I highly doubt I'll be able to go out on a picnic in my pajamas."

"I promise not to take too long." It was the last thing Irina said before disappearing down the stairs of the place.

After a few minutes of choosing an outfit that would allow her to maintain her body temperature and fix both herself and her hair, the blonde quickly went downstairs to show herself in front of the vampire. "Tadah~! What do you think? Does this green look good on me?" She took a short turn exposing herself completely from all angles and then, after a few giggles, she grab the picnic blanket in her hands. "There, let me help you load something. I know you can do it on your own perfectly, but I want you to have a free hand to take mine." Saying that, Irina gently took Ruki's free hand to intertwine their fingers with each other like strong bonds while the puzzle pieces of their golden bracelets attracted to complete as one piece.

"Now that we're ready, you can guide me where you want to take me... And resist kidnapping me."
