• ✨ Back to Witches and Wizards and Magical Beasts ✨ • • • • Today is September 1st! Meaning all of the lucky fictional children get to go to Hogwarts while I’m still waiting for my acceptance letter 11 years later! So I thought it would be fun and silly to do a photoshoot in some of the cosplay pieces I’ve collected. Before you ask: yes I’m a ❤️Gryffindor💛, no I dont hate Slytherins, yes I’m a reckless dumbass with no impulse control, no I’m not an egotistical asshole (I don’t think). I know I’m Gryffindor 100% because after I was sorted on Pottermore, I decided to make a new account to try and get Slytherin... and got Hufflepuff. If that’s not a Gryff thing to do I don’t know what is. Also, I’m wearing my Roman necklace from @thomassanders partly because I never take it off, but also because he’s the Gryffindor in the famILY, and I thought after the new music video it was fitting 😂💕 I genuinely can’t stop singing Gotta Get Back to Hogwarts from AVPM. That’s like the @therealteamstarkid anthem at this point. So enjoy some of these goofy photos (and my makeup) as a celebration of a part of my youth I’m so glad I can feel like I’m a part of. While I've shot with dozen of great people over the years, there's only a select few I've shot with many times. I thought I'd start 2025 by doing a series of those folks with every shoot we've ever done together, from first to last.

For this autumnal shoot, Alex and I actually just used the path that leads to a nude beach in our area. Not a lot of nude sunbathers in October in Alberta so we achieved a real sense of isolation while only being a hundred yards away from a parking lot or so.

As usual her wardrobe was totally on point and we got wonderful witchy vibes with this sunset shoot.

Number 2 in this series with Lindsey.

While I've shot with dozens of great people over the years, there's only a select few I've shot with many times. Let's start 2025 by doing a series of those folks with every shoot we've ever done together, from first to last.

My 2nd time shooting Lindsey we did some promo photos for some upcoming gigs she was doing. She had the keys to an empty apartment in her building, I don't remember why, but it was fun. I saw that bathtub photo on posters around town for years and it made my heart happy every time.

My 3rd shoot with Kaleigh was at the Neon Sign Museum in Edmonton. I wanted to see how Cinestill 800T film would shoot portraits in neon ambient light. These are a combo of 35mm film and digital shots. Kaleigh absolutely killed it.
