Under the Bridge
Today's portraits of the day are Lucie doing her best impression of a Greek goddess down under the Walterdale Bridge.

Today's portraits of the day are my friends Stu & Kayla's Icelandic sheep looking metal as hell.

Number 2 in this series with Lindsey.
While I've shot with dozens of great people over the years, there's only a select few I've shot with many times. Let's start 2025 by doing a series of those folks with every shoot we've ever done together, from first to last.
My 2nd time shooting Lindsey we did some promo photos for some upcoming gigs she was doing. She had the keys to an empty apartment in her building, I don't remember why, but it was fun. I saw that bathtub photo on posters around town for years and it made my heart happy every time.

Lindsey Walker is an incredibly talented Edmonton actor and singer/songwriter. I've been lucky to know her for many years and have photographed her or filmed her several times. My first time shooting Lindsey was with her band playing a show at the now defunct Needle Vinyl Tavern in Edmonton.
Number 5 in this series with Kaleigh.

4B of my final shoot with Kaleigh. The makeup artist was taking FOREVER to do Kaleigh and the other model's makeup so while we waited we shot some stuff "out of concept" just around the house that ended looking awesome.

My 4th and final shoot with Kaleigh (she's since moved to NZ) was a sparkle/glitter concept. We did a bunch of fun coloured light in the studio stuff but I also shot some gorgeous outtakes with natural light so I'mma split this into 2 posts. Here's 4a.
Number 3 in this series with Kaleigh.

My 3rd shoot with Kaleigh was at the Neon Sign Museum in Edmonton. I wanted to see how Cinestill 800T film would shoot portraits in neon ambient light. These are a combo of 35mm film and digital shots. Kaleigh absolutely killed it.

My 2nd shoot with Kaleigh was another street shoot. She's like 85% leg so cutoffs look make her look even more like a praying mantis (complimentary). I put a roll of TriX 35mm through the camera for this shoot.

Kaleigh would best be described as the human equivalent of loose electricity. She's an anthropomorphized Tesla coil basically. So much fun to shoot with in uncontrolled environments. Our first shoot was just that. We had a little black dress and a dingy back alley. It worked great.
Number 6 in this series with Justina.

My final shoot with Justina to date, was an actual fashion type gig we did together with another model. We were shooting at the Happy Wall in downtown Edmonton and had a super fun, shiny happy people vibe planned. So Alberta being Alberta, of course it rained. We still nailed it though.
Number 5 in this series with Justina.

As promised here's some more pool pics of Justina from one of our dip'n'shoots. I really do miss having a pool at my disposal. As always, Justina conveys so much in these photos with her face and body language. Just a joy to be around and shoot with.

My old apartment had a pool that hardly anyone ever used. Justina came over for swims a few times, and a couple of those times we did photos. I'll split them into "dry" & "wet". These are from a sunset session we did together.

The second half of Justina's birthday shoot was a "morning after with the one you love" vibe. So, minimalist makeup, t-shirt and boy ginch. We shot some of these on film and they're a couple of my favourite frames ever. We also did some "birthday suit" stuff, but maybe tomorrow for that.
