This time around, obsidian wanted to raise a little egg. He helped out Bayou with other eggs, so he figured he could totally raise a little one.
Obsidian wasn’t particularly happy with being told he had to keep the egg inside the house until the egg hatched, but he’d seen Bayou with Junimo and wanted to raise a little sapling. He was.. stubbornly determined at this point.
After awhile of sitting, Bayou came around to relax with obsidian. Just after Bayou fell asleep. Obsidian heard quite a bit of cracking and movement from the egg.
He was quick to wake Bayou so he could get Ace to contact the place where they’d gotten the egg.

unfortunity @feliadox snagged the egg, but there are some hatchings that would love a new home! (they look so cute snuggled up to the egg like that T-T)
