So in god of malice, there was this one character that was mentioned in like 1 line and then he just poofed like Jameson's dad.

It was when Glyndon was hiding in the bush, she mentioned a "black mask" and despite how much time has passed of me reading that book, I still haven't let that go and my friends think I'm crazy.

It has become that time of year again when I reread Ripples by Yellow mask for the nth time.

It has everything:

Yearning, the inherent eroticism of seeing your love interest cuddling with kittens, an actual believable and logical reason for them to stick together for as long as they do before developing feelings, the way it adapted things in canon so SO good, a stellar example of friends to enemies to friends to lovers and MUCH more.

Granted it got many things wrong with canon in retrospect but Please it was finished in 2009, and canon was far from over by then, but as far as we knew then it stuck to canon so yellow mask is not at fault.

Truly this is my favourite fanfic, ever, in any fandom.
