The mighty Gherkin in shot! This deck is on the sixth floor by the river , I screwed the boards through the face for extra strength against the weather. Some would use secret fixings to save the face of the boards but I just don't trust them in these situations.

This is a project in Wapping, East London, a quiet central area on the Thames. This deck is a Hardwood calles Yellow Balau. It's laid in the interwoven Herringbone style. With a minimal amount of space it's good to do as much as possible with it, the 'arrow' draws the eye out over the view. Subtle lighting complements the area well.
