Christmas is for sharing .... here are a few more beers the Wooff-Boomes shared with our family over the last week. They all paired deliciously with the snow, holiday treats and our first Christmas on board the Nancy Joy.
Growlers on land Christmas Eve: Strange Fellows Bayard Saison, and Dageraad’s Burnabarian and Irresolution winter pale ale.
Departure beers: Steamworks Flagship IPA; Yellow Dog High 5 Hazy IPA (these are the perfect beers to be drinking while heading up Indian Arm, although we were sad that we could not turn off and head to Port Moody’s tasting rooms for a few...)
Christmas dinner (twice, including Boxing Day) with McMenamins 23rd Ave Bottle Shop Birthday Reserve No. 1 farmhouse ale; Strange Fellows Boris Russian Imperial Stout; Upright Billy the Mountain (a post-cardy old ale); Three Magnets Karakterbier (hoppy belgian style farmhouse, part of their country series).
Gift opening frenzy beer: Swans Master Blaster brett-saison(ish).
Wigwam Inn Games Day: Yellow Dog Play Day IPA; Dageraad’s Anno 2016 belgian style golden ale with Keremeos pears and Indian coriander (not pictured, but a view of the snowy wonderland outside through a new Ex Novo glass is).
