THANK YOU for fixing the political graph on the current presidential candidates. It bothered me so much seeing how that info graphic was spreading like wildfire, but had false info and misleading statements ("truly supports gay marriage"? Well that's a value judgment if I've ever seen one) Anyways.... Yes, thank you. You're amazing and heard my silent cry of "cite your sources dammit!"
Yeah, that post really bothered me. I mean, I prefer Sanders too, but you shouldn’t spread misinformation about other candidates to convince people to vote for him. Misinformation on tumblr is a big problem, but that was one of the most egregious examples I’ve seen. That post has over 100,000 notes, too. I cringe just thinking about it…
We all make mistakes, but misinformation that extreme seems intentional. Someone made that graph with the intention of misinforming, even if it wasn’t OP who very well just posted it without realizing it, because I refuse to believe that anyone who is politically inclined enough to make a graphic like that thinks Hillary Clinton, who developed a universal healthcare plan before Obamacare existed, is anti-universal healthcare. Even if you didn’t know that, she’s a Democrat and most Dems support Obamacare.
Also, it’s highly suspicious that most of Bernie Sanders’ views were accurate and nearly all of those of Hillary Clinton, who is his main contender for people with liberal or left-leaning views, weren’t. Another thing that bugs me is pretty much the only progressive view of Hillary’s they didn’t lie about was her being Pro-choice and that just strikes me as sexist. It’s like, people are that willing to believe Hillary doesn’t care about any progressive issue except abortion because she’s a woman? Again, I’m not a big fan of hers, but still.
