He died in Tigerstar's tyranny, trying to help Stonefur who was one of his closest kithood friends, in its final moments it spoke one last time to its sister, told her to take care and never regret.

— Brightwave: She wasn't always as irritable and cranky as she is now, on the contrary she was much more active as a kit, cheering her mother on for whatever she did. Being Mistystar's kithood best friend, she accompanied her along with her sibling and Stonefur, creating a small group of friends. However, when Swandance died, no one was left, Mistystar had abandoned her in that moment and her sibling had died before her eyes and she did nothing, Leopardstar did nothing, no one had. She withdrew early because of the trauma and refuses to speak to most cats.
