Another thing that bothers me about Yeniffer’s insane odd desire to have a baby is her motivation for it. She says she wants to be important to someone. This makes sense because her motivation change, and she first started wanting a baby was when she was talking to that queen who mentioned that to her baby she was “the whole world”. 

Yennifer doesn’t want to be a mother to be a mother, Yen wants to have a baby to have something to stroke her ego, cure her loneliness, make her feel loved, and make her feel important. 

Those are not reasons to have a child!

Now, I am child-free by choice. But I am still an empathetic human being capable of understanding that other people might want children of their own. But I just cannot empathize with Yennifer’s struggle when those are her motivations.
