AU memes that were brought on by an influx on brainrot and late night thoughts.
this randomly came up on my feed and it made me think of yeo-ul
the direct aftermath of that occurring:
and daeun is the one smoking (of course).
though really, it wouldn’t calm him down. it might actually make him worse. but I guess it was worth a shot.
red flags with daeun and yeo-ul but its daeun trying to outfreak yeo-ul so he’ll leave him the hell alone.
and it doesn’t work. if anything it just makes the obsession worse. much to his very visible disappointment.
and jinu is the waiter btw.
i want you to know that yeo-ul is fully stuck in my brain rn. he’s just such a silly concept. cringefail non-dragon obsessed with this one little freak. i love him and by that i mean that i want to see daeun reach through a time portal and pull out a bazooka to destroy him with
(i did his human form off the dome in about ten seconds just trying to make him distinguishable from jinu and daeun so. historically inaccurate hair is historically inaccurate)
I have managed to infect you with the OC brainrot. Fantastic *evil hehe* I’m glad you’re enjoying him as much as I am. He looks so lovely, and like he should have a bazooka aimed straight at him.
He is kind of silly isn’t he. A cringefail little freak of a snake man who is obsessed with another little freak who can’t stand him at all. You can almost forget about all the people he routinely poisons and murders…
Yeo-ul: Why don’t you come over here and pound me into the ground like you did last time~?
Daeun: ….
Jinu: *cringing* [I need to bleach my brain after this…]
Should see how he is the other half of the time, because he is very much not a good person. I haven’t quite decided what his exact human occupation is, but it is likely something related to either the yangban (the ruling elites) or the chungin (middle class). He is the type to go “How dare you touch me, you wretched filth” and throw a person through a wall, if someone ever stood up to him, all while glaring at them with intense snake-like eyes, so I kind of imagine him being in a position where he has some power over other people.
Person: You’re even not human are you… What are you?
Yeo-ul: *gone deathly still, not even visibly breathing* *unblinking* *staring at them with sharp eyes* You know, that’s the kind of thing a wise person would keep to themselves.
Accurately enough, I do imagine him wearing his hair down sometimes. Likely, when he’s not in front of other people, or sometimes when he’s fighting and he reveals more of his demonic side and forgoes certain formalities for the sake of being dramatic. And he is also a supernatural creature, so we can just assume that he’s not completely bound by human society rules when he’s alone and/or not having to pass for a convincing human.
But, for when it comes to historically accurate hairstyles though, I would imagine he’d keep his hair in a low braid with a daenggi (a type of traditional ribbon) at the end of it, as was customary for unmarried men and boys at the time.
I do kind of think that he’d have more braids than average, possibly styling a braid on each side of his head to resemble horns in his human form. Due to imugi not being full dragons, they are often described as lacking any horns. So, I can see him doing this with his hairstyle to make up for the fact that he doesn’t have any horns like a proper dragon.
Though, he does look nice with horns, I will say ✨ and depictions of imugi do vary. I wouldn’t be against him having “fake” horns that he is very “DON’T TOUCH THE HORNS” about. Which he would kind of be that way about his hair, and his clothes, and his face. And everything else, because beauty and appearances is everything.
As for his half-snake/full snake form, I picture him resembling a python. Since, imugi are often depicted as being giant python-like creatures, and I also imagine him grabbing and constricting his prey/enemies and watching as the life slips away from them. I also imagine him having ornate colorful patterns along his scales, and that these patterns translate into his robes/attire in his human form. A very fancy (and prissy) man indeed.
Yeo-ul is funny because I imagine his reaction to Jinu is just “oh, it’s the extra” and he doesn’t really care about him outside of “another hunter I guess, nothing special” and then he sees Daeun is like “IT’S HIM, everyone else get the hell out of here so me and beautiful gorgeous can have a thrilling fight scene” and he’s visibly excited.
Not everyone has favorites, but Yeo-ul sure does and he’s blatantly obvious about it.
Bro٫ at this point if Daeun beats him up enough times٫ dude is gonna end up proposing to him ✋😭
He might.
And he’ll get the rejection in the shape of a “You? Me? Fat chance” glare and a well-placed kick to the gut that breaks a few of his bones.
But of course, Yeo-ul is the type to go “I have a chance! And it’s fat! :D” while Jinu goes “Dude, I’m getting serious stalker vibes from that one…”
Yeoul: Oh no fellow demon٫ please٫ don't hurt me~!✋😏🤚
Daeun٫ who is so done with this dude: [Don't worry٫ I'm not gonna touch you] 😐
Yeoul:
Yeoul: WHY NAH—?!
Daeun doesn’t even need to say anything, his face says it all. And Yeo-ul is sorely disappointed.
Though, Yeo-ul isn’t above purposefully antagonizing Daeun in order to get him to attack him if he doesn’t. Such as using and threatening the life of a certain someone (Jinu) or an innocent civilian as a way to make Daeun act and fight him.
It is a surefire way to get Daeun to do something, which is unfortunate, but Yeo-ul is the type to play dirty to get what he wants. So that checks out for him to do.
funny thing is yeo-ul isn’t just a “I can make him worse” when it comes to daeun and it’s also “I’ll use him to experience the fun of finally having someone worth my time and get a wonderful rush from our interactions, and then I’ll make him destroy himself in the worst way possible, push him to the brink until he barely has any of his own individuality left, to where there’s nothing left but a mindless monster who can only think about killing and acting on his own bloodlust, then I’ll kill him and watch the light leave his eyes and feel the remaining warmth drain away from his body and I’ll devour his soul and then relish in the memories of our fights knowing that I bested him”
just toxic yaoi things, you know.
