"i told you i'm sorry, y/n. i wish i could turn back time but you know as good as i do that i can't!" yeonjun desperately raises his voice at you without intending to.
"your sorry doesn't change anything!" you yell at him too. when yeonjun sees the look in your eyes the second you look away, his heart aches.
"i trusted you." looking at him again, a tear runs down your cheek. yeonjun swore he never wanted to make you cry, so now seeing you like this hurts even more. especially since he's the reason.
"and i loved you. i loved you so, so much." sobbing, yeonjun looks at you with the most heartbreaking look ever because he can't change anything about what he did.
"but you love her, am i right?" you nod, your heart breaking into pieces with every second. him not answering because both of you know you're right doesn't make you feel better either.
"tell me i'm wrong. just tell me that i'm wrong, please." begging him, yeonjun simply looks away since he can't bear to see you cry.
"i wanna hate you so bad yeonjun, you have no idea. but i can't and that's the worst thing about this!" without having control over your emotions, you raise your voice at him again.
"y/n stop!" he speaks up again, on the verge of tears as well.
"i know what i did and i know that what i did was the dumbest thing i could've ever done! you don't need to remind me." yeonjun scoffs.
"i'm just- there's nothing i can do now, other than say i'm sorry, which i truly am." without wanting to, his words just make you cry more and more.
"i never wanted to hurt you." he somehow tries to assure you. god, if he knows how much more these words hurt you. you know he never wanted to hurt you, at least not until he cheated.
"yeah, i know." nodding one last time, you two look at each other knowing this was the last time you talked.
choi yeonjun, the only person in the world who managed to make you feel like you actually matter. the one who you would trust with your life. the one who made life worth living again.
and lastly, yeonjun, the one broke your heart into millions of pieces, which you would never be able to gather and fix again.
