IM SO GLAD YOU ARE SWEET ANON!!!!!!! i was hesitant at first i won’t lie — between the actual canon of blakely and having a wife already, and i wrote in viv with a boyfriend, but …… now diverging from that (in the SBMOTA-verse blakely isn’t married and viv will *sadly* experience something with long-time boyfriend james pennington — more on that later) and SO HERE WE ARE!!!!!!! and honestly, looking back at the singular piece i wrote for Viv and Ev (wow didn’t even realize how nicely their names go together haha), im ALL IN ON THESE TWO!!!!!
and now incredibly excited to write and do some things for them!!!!!
i think for me these two will help to heal each other a lot. unlike annie, bessie, kennedy and margie - viv doesn’t go down and get stuck in the stalag, she gets promoted and transferred to operations and so we get perfect and ample opportunity to develop these two more!! and i am SO SO EXCITED!!!! and equally incredibly grateful for your excitement too sweet anon!!!

ohhh this is a good one!! i would say meet me in the afterglow or you were bigger than the whole sky because both of those titles really capture the vibes of the fic i guess?? i think they match the content really well and are also named after some of my favorite lyrics in the world ever (and both the songs they came from are soso byler coded it's ridiculous)

ok uhh idk if this is my FAVORITE favorite bc i've written a lot of stuff this year but i'm pretty proud of the confession scene i wrote for what can i do, my most recent byler fic:
Will presses his lips together, releasing a soft breath as he drums his fingertips against the counter. "I don't know," he says, all quiet and soft and serious, and Mike still wants to kiss him. "I mean, I always figured- I know I said the thing about you having a heart attack, which, you know, I do genuinely believe, but- I figured I've been obvious. All this time. So, I guess, yeah, maybe I was being a little passive and a little petty, and I wanted you to ask."
"You wanted me to ask," Mike repeats. "Like, hypothetically? Or...?"
Will gives him a look. "Mike. Come on."
"It's a genuine question! You're going to have to be clear with me, Will, I'm very stupid."
Will half-laughs at that, amusement battling with the strange melancholy written all over his face. "You're not," he says softly, and oh, right, Will thinks he's smarter than he gives himself credit for. Mike's not entirely sure he believes that, but if Will says it, it must be at least seventy percent true.
There's a beat, and Mike finds himself slowly unfurling from the stool and coming to stand on Will's side of the counter. Will turns to look at him, hip resting on the edge of the granite, and there's palpable tension in the air as Mike repeats, a little softer, "What do you think you've been obvious about, Will?"
anyway there's more to it than that but that whole scene turned out pretty well i think <33 (but fuck you (affectionate) for making me say nice shit about myself that was horrible)

Okay so my best friend's birthday party is today, so I won't be on much.
