i hate seeing a ton of people misinterpret a comment then use that as an excuse to be really nasty and sarcastic like why is it that whenever we dont immediately understand a person is agreeing with us we automatically assume they must disagree with us then paint everything they are saying as some sort of negative and then attack them based off of that . Its weird as shit and unnecessarily hostile

#i used to think of tumblr as better than reddit bc theres like a little bit more social consciousness #but the more i look through comments on my front page the more i realize this is not the case and #pretty much every social media is annoying in the same way the only difference is...#...how well people can articulate themselves Or how willing they are to articulate themselves #reddit and tumblr are kind of the same in that regard but the difference is what people tend to argue about on tumblr #of course the kinds of posts im usually recommended also skews Things #reddit is full of racist americans who dont care that theyre racist unless you point out to them that theyre racist #tumblr is full of racist americans who think they arent racist but they are. and there are a lot more vocal non americans than on reddit #twitter is the worst of reddit and tumblr combined #instagram is annoying if youre very easy to ragebait . its like the tip of the iceberg of whats annoying on reddit if that makes sense
