Hear me out!!—

I want to do a true!form Castiel piece/comic strip,, specifically referencing/re-imagining the Hulk / Black Widow “Lullaby” scene in Avengers: Age of Ultron.

Listen— True-form Castiel would be a mysterious-eldritch-horror under the surface for anyone encountering him, besides Dean, because he would regularly act unfazed UNLESS circumstantially necessary for others/Cas’/maybe his own survival.

Because Dean is the only one that’s ever been close enough to Castiel to establish any type of protocol for successfully grounding the ‘monstorous’ angel back into his vessel’s form without violent and destructive force.

They’re not in a relationship, but at least half of their team can tell that something deeper is there than their ~”profound bond”~.

It’s joked about all the more once they admit they had to establish this regularized ‘touchy’ ritual to bring Cas back to ground zero when he’d angel-hulk out.

They’ve been flirting for years and use any subtle excuse to initiate contact for more than 2 seconds. 5 seconds if no one else is around. 16 seconds if they’re the only ones left awake during a mission. But who’s counting?

They allow themselves to feel safe in the comfortable silence of each others presence, and that’s the scariest thing either of them has ever experienced. Something else to be ripped away.

Remind me to start a doc so I don’t lose this idea while it’s fresh. kinda sleepy rn
