Every time I think about the relationship Ryan and Shane share, I think about that one random clip, and I can't even remember where I've seen it, but it's Shane coming out of the sound booth being pranked by Ryan and he's genuinely annoyed and telling him not to do that, but Ryan just laughs at him trying to be stern and Shane makes it a solid second before he laughs too.
And then I think about that one Unsolved episode shortly after Ryan's break up, when he's incredibly cranky and taking it out on Shane and Shane's just like "lol okay buddy", completely unfazed.
And then I think about that story where Shane hid the Walkie and Ryan got really pissed because he couldn't find it, and only answered to him in mono-syllables for a week and how Shane laughed telling that story and man. I don't know.
That's the foundation of how I write and see them. So entirely unafraid that they're anything but okay, but also so entirely unable to be properly mad at each other. It's so fucking sweet man.
