I have found my place

I thought I had found my place in the world

But then you came along,

Out of nowhere.

Before that, we were at different points in our lives,

And we are still in different worlds.

I thought I had found my place in the world,

But now I want my place to be next to you,

Where ever that might be.

Why do humans repeat their mistakes, over and over again?

Why do I want to leave everything behind me, to be with you?

Why have you chosen to turn my mind upside down?

I like to think that if we were in the same room

Time would stand still,

While we

get lost in the room,

get lost in the music,

get lost in each other’s eyes,

get lost in time and space.

Nothing else will matter besides,

And the room.

I have found my place in the world,

And it is next to you.

I want love

I want love.

I want the kind of love that makes hot summers jealous

I want the kind of love that makes you feel every single drop of sweat on your skin, making you shine like a million pearls in the ocean

I want the kind of love that makes you grab my hips, whilst I walk next to you, because the sunbeams caress my face. Making my hair shine, you admiring all the possible colours of amber that my hair admits under these raze of sunshine. Contrasting the parlour of my profile, you’ve realised how red my cheeks and lips are in comparison to the moonlike skin.

And now you cannot bear it anymore.

You grab my hips and pull me towards your body, like puzzle pieces clicking into each other.

You kiss me passionately, as unpredictable as English rain. As passionate as the Italian sun.

I want the kind of love that makes me wonder where time has gone, whilst my lips crash onto yours, like ocean waves crash on the shore, ever so soft and ever so hard. 

I want the kind of love that makes us stop craving anything else but each other, like a drug in an addicts veins, his dependence, his weakness making him frail and aware of his shortcoming. I want to reach out to you, to the most beautiful drug ever created in existence, all-consuming. And I am yours. Not perceiving our surroundings, not noticing anything but our hands exploring every last part of our bodies.

Looking forward

Nothing is forever,

Everything is temporary,

Everything is fleeting.

Like these lines, I write because of you.

They will eventually finish

And fade into nothingness.

But you will know when they stop,

I don’t know many things.

Although I know

That somewhere they will stay,

Like my feelings for you.

So nothing is lost in the end,

Or maybe your feelings will fade,

Have faded,

Will have faded? Or will be fading?

I’m not sure what the right tense is anymore.

But one thing I’m certain of is,

I had you, I wanted you, and I still want you.

But one thing I’m not certain of is,

You had me, did you want me, do you still want me?

Everything is desire, and I want to look forward with you.

I feel like I know you,

But then I know,

I don’t.

And if it is true,

And we are all made of the same particles,

Which the universe consist of,

And then again.

Until there is nothing more left,

Until I am fully yours,

All conventions,

I know I want to spend many moons with you,

Smile

Insomnia grips me

And I am filled with energy

And thoughts

About you

You fill me, all of me

Every neurone

Every moment

Every second

Goes towards you

All the words you have put in line

To fill a constellation of words

To fill a painting of phrases

An arrangement of colours that are made of shear syllables

Just meant for me

And I

admire them

absorbe them.

I know you have chosen those colours with purpose, meaningfulness,

Not without sens

In that set, sequence, line-up

In order to communicate to me your feelings

And I am blind, I make myself so

Or at least I pretend

As I don’t want to assume nothing

As then if I don’t receive nothing

At least I can say my heart has not been broken by you

However that makes no sense anymore

As everytime I see your smile

I feel my tiny heart breaking

Into everso tiny little pieces

And that’s ok

Because I love to see your smile.

Mistakes

Have you ever made mistakes?

If so, why?

If so, how did it make you feel?

If so why did you feel that way?

I know these are uncomfortable questions, so let me make it up by another one,

This time though, with an answer. 

Have I ever made mistakes?

Many. Too many to count them all down.

And yet, here I am. Still standing on both of my feet.

Proud. Hopeful. Undefeated. Reckless. 

Reckless, for I am still hopeful,

And why not? I haven't got anything to lose, at this point. So yes,

I made a mistake. 

A mistake of believing in us,

A mistake of believing in you,

A mistake of believing in me,

A mistake of believing we could be.

And it was a beautiful mistake, 

which made me stronger, made me learn, made me still believe. 

And I urge you to

Make mistakes, make this mistake. 

And be proud, be reckless, be hopeful about this mistake. 

Make mistakes, make this mistake. 

Let me be this mistake, let me be yours.
