It’s “mr murder, killer of many, slayer of innocents, evil bastard of all, would never stoop so low as sexual assault or apologising for it”
I know it’s cause people want to fuck said fictional man without feeling bad about it and murder gets a pass cause it’s hot and cool and justifiable somehow. (And I guess they want alpha daddy to save them/his love from a would be rapist as an act of devotion?)
Or people make it about sexuality when it’s not at all related. It’s about power dynamics.
But I’m sorry, violent assault is the same level of crime as sexual assault. Anyone chill about doing the former isn’t going to suddenly and randomly draw the line at the latter.
To be clear I’m not saying everyone should realistically write sexual assault into their headcanons or meta or fics. You don’t have to engage with it, you don’t have to make media about it, so why whine about it?!
Anyway I’m sick of hearing this complaint that “my murder husband would never” like he’s so special morally.
Shush. Get over yourselves.
My murder wife would, and I’ll still love her despite the atrocities because she’s fictional and all her crimes are for my own personal enjoyment and not actually real.
