what is exactly is yeixiao? I know she is ghost or something of a older stylist of Cloud? The current one? What is with her memory loss?
I'll start with the easiest - Yexiao forgets a lot, or rather she let's go of memories because she has lived for so long and can't take all her memories with her.
Yexiao is a reflection/memory of an ancient Cloud designer, or at least thats what the first few chapters hint at (im only behind on a few so i dont think its been contested anywhere.)

She is both the painter and the person in the painting.
The straightforward ”Baixi Yuyu“ was born from such a mind.
No formal restrictions, no family burdens,
Its exquisiteness, elegance and natural splendor are often admired by future generations.

Fireworks are burning in the kiln, the sky is blue after the rain, the girl brushes away the clouds and mist,
The celadon pattern and a branch of pink pistil remain on this design for a long time.
