“I don't want you to go", Yanfei mutters into the crook of Yelan's neck as the rising sun sets in their bedroom.

“I know, love”, Yelan murmurs. She passes her hand, and buries her head, in Yanfei's hair. “I’m not sure I want to go either…”.

Yelan’s eyes close again. Her breathing slows down to a gentle rhythm. Soon enough, snores are the only noise filling their home.

my friend, who has been playing Genshin Impact longer than I have mentioned to me that she loves it when I talk about older ships that no one really cares about anymore, like Jeanlisa. After doing the Chasm quest I started shipping Yanlan and noticed you ship it too! So now I wish to share a little headcanon I have and that after they get married they're pretty quick to have kids since Yanfei has longevity due to being half adeptus while Yelan does not and Yanfei wanted something semi-permanent to remember her by. The kids also have some longevity. I also imagine it took forever for Yelan and Yanfei go to actually marry each other. They date for like 8 years before the finally decide to marry each other
