There is a happy ending, that's why everybody has been freaking out. There could eventually be a 2nd season, but the story is complete as is and, given the 1st season, it seems almost impossible that the main characters will ever get separated as a endgame of any future material.

I mean, they don’t always look this pretty, and they do have some problems (split ends, yay. not ;)) but I didn’t let them grow all this way to just cut them off now. So off we go, I hope I’ll manage waist-length at some point, or even hip. If they’ll even grow that long. XD 

Btw, Steph, didn’t you have long hair once? Why did you chop it off?

yeah my point was that I'd prioritize the succession of reveals and plotpoints in the order they were premiered to the public rather than the timeline
