Adding more to the Raised in Bikini Bottom AU
Barb found Shini under the Dutchman’s deck after a raid somewhere. Not knowing where the kid came from, she decided to take her in and once she met Lilac (an OC I ship Barb with) and started going out with her, they raised her together. By this time, I’ve decided “Search for SquarePants” has happened a little while after the 2004 movie.
Renet somehow time-traveled to Bikini Bottom and the scepter or gadget that brought her there shattered when she did, so she didn’t have a way back. Hungry, she snuck into nearby house in the middle of the night and scoured the fridge in there—which later turned out to be Fred’s fridge and house. Needless to say, he was startled to find a random 4-year-old in his house at midnight, but feeling bad, he ended up adopting her.
Mona came to Earth as part of a group of Salamandrian refugees after their planet was sadly destroyed. Currently she lives with G’Throkka and her two siblings- P’dorpa and G’tellar near the outskirts of Bikini Bottom, where most of the alien immigrants live. I don’t know how she meets Raph yet and becomes more integrated into the story, but I’ll think of something.
Irma…uh, no idea. She’s obviously not a Kraangdroid as you can see, so maybe she just stumbled across a random Kraang tech piece and was teleported to Bikini Bottom via that and was found in a similar way by Squilliam like how Squidward found April. I think at first Squilliam didn’t actually care about her and just adopted her for good PR and to show-up Squidward with that. Perch also wasn’t entirely happy about the surprise in the mansion because 1) he wasn’t that open to becoming a father after what happened with his ex-wife and other daughter, and 2) he and Squilliam were determined to keep their relationship secret and this probably wouldn’t help. But as you can also see, that didn’t last a whole long time and now they pretty much spoil Irma rotten. (Irma and April might be friends at first but then they end up hating each other, like their fathers before them…mmm angst. >:3)
