What a great way to start off the year~~!

Thank you to everyone who came to hang out and flail despite tech hiccups ^^ It brings me so much joy to host these streams and find more chances to bring this lowkey community together to support this amazing team of talented men and especially the giant dweeb they stand with. 

I’m working through a schedule to slot in some times throughout the year for other lives, hopefully in collaboration with some other talented folks. I know it’s a huge time commitment (even though 3 hours can fly by when you’re having fun :3cccc) but I hope we’ll be able to spend time together. Please look forward to those announcements!

I....genuinely didn’t know what to expect when i got this crazy idea to host these streams. I didn’t know there was going to be this much interest. I didn’t know I would spend my weekend afternoons, evenings, and nights with 10-15 strangers per session from around the world. I didn’t know everyone was willing to defy time and language barriers to make these memories happen and to make them last. I didn’t know we’d all connect and laugh and sing and melt and cry and smile together. I just.....I had no idea. 

I really couldn’t have pulled this off on my own, so...

Some special call outs to some incredibly skillful and generous ~ladies~ who made this experience even better than I could’ve hoped.

@arellethram - for compiling English and Romaji lyric translations and legit turbo subbing english AND romaji lyrics from @tsukinokakera and yumehokori -- thank you for letting us sing along~~~

@natsustarrevolution - for letting Arelle lift your Oku-sama mo Mamo translation for the file as well -- thank you for bringing the lolz~~

@chiyamabunny @koto-wari @tsukinokakera @sasunaru-relationship - for lightning speed impromptu translations - thank you for making us feel that much closer to mamo and his messages!

but most importantly, to everyone who attended that I genuinely can’t tag bc i’m scared i’ll forget even one of you: thank you for all making this so fun, so effortless, so special. Mixing (as an era, more or less) came into my life on a wave of hope and happiness. Thanks to all of you, it lives in my heart as so much more. I really treasure that and I hope you do, too.

We’ll meet again, won’t we?

Mamo Tumblr!Fandom has been so awesome and kind from the moment I’ve joined, but since so many of us are far away, it’s hard to get access to, and (more importantly) come together to flail about our seiyuu king, prince of hearts. I wanted to give back to all of you fans and translators and friends alike, so I’m hosting a few streaming parties for Mixing!

Based on general accessibility, I’ll be using rabb.it ! I’ve not had any issues with rabb.it, but in prep, I suggest to: 

Sign up for an account – you don’t need to connect to Facebook, email account works fine :)

Check your bandwidth: even after you toggle to HD on Rabbit, the site does tend to get choppy with loading. I usually try to close as many programs and other browser windows as I can to make it go smoothly!

what. a. weekend! my heart. is so so so so so full. to share these 3:10:24 with so many Mamo fans, from all over the world, from the US, South America, Europe, Russia, and Asia.....I can’t find the words. Miyano Mamoru, you are so loved. every where. and you’ve brought that love through to connect so many sweet, sweet people together to share these moments with you.

A few house rules: 

Please please please do not try to steal my file. Ripping my own blu ray is no easy feat and takes a lot of time to process and compress to get uploaded to a server to host. Not to mention, I would hate for it to get in the hands of anyone trying to pirate the file. That wouldn’t be fair to Mamo, now, would it?

Please be mindful and kind: this should be a safe space where we can enjoy this together, and that comes down to every one of us, so let’s keep that in mind ‘kay? ^^
