the Mishima Hatred(tm) where they hate each other and will hate each other for the end of time is tekken's trademark I get that but JESUS its sooo restrictive. Yeah its a fighting game and we're not here to tell a story, we're here to push buttons and sell games, but GNGNHGNGGH its frustrating. Their solution for when a character is too evil and you cant root for him anymore (bc it would mean the end of the free world in-universe) is not to actually dwell deeper into that character and to do some basic psychology to try and answer the question as to WHY theyre evil, and in the same time have characters... talk and deepen their relationship, to DEVELOP those characters, no its to introduce a family member (bc it has to stay in the family) more good-aligned and hope he's good to play as so you'll keep him around until all his flavor has left him as well
