SO, THE CASE WAS RE-OPENED...

I WON.

Should I tell PayPal about their multiple accounts, which violates their terms of service? Maybe?

But before I end this horrible saga, I must thank @midnightcaptions because she's the one who annotated all of those PM's for me to provide as evidence. I just didn't have that kind of time myself due to work.

She also dug deep and found all their other blogs where they scam from (ask me for usernames if you wanna block). She proved they're all the same person even though they deny it, and found more of their scams such as trying to sell other people's art off Furaffinity as their own adoptables.

So, yeah. I couldn't have won the case without her. She was invaluable, words can't express my thanks enough. 💗💗💗

hi!! that one person that does tracing that you've called out @\shywizardflower has come to me when i had my commissions open to try and get me to commission them

i thought you'd like to know this information as well, considering the situation going on

all of their rules for commissions are pretty bad too, including no refunds with pieces being up and over $80

i gotta say looking at people like that getting commissions and scamming people while i've only gotten a couple sucks :(

It’s all so painfully obvious too. Three of their accounts messaged me almost back to back, and then when I started blocking they messaged from a fourth.

I’ve had a real artist go through the blogs and confirm it’s all one person, as far as posting the same art on diff blogs.

They tried to resell previously sold stolen furry art off FA as adoptables, deleted the post when called out of course. And they just keep doubling down on the same stuff over and over and over…

And astonishing, they are Ariel [diff last names] and in the Philippines on ALL of their PayPal accounts with bot-like email addresses! Huh! Oh and my bank card had a fraudulent charge on it within hours of my sending them money so I had to cancel it. 😞

Probably gonna have to post the PM screenshots. Anyway thanks for getting in touch. I knew I couldn’t be the only one, but it’s nice to have it confirmed. Solidarity against art scammers. 😊

looks like the same person again. but, kinda thinking now it's a group of people. like a collaboration of scammers. the multiple paypal invoices i was sent were just... too similar. the email addresses, the names, the song and dance sob stories when i didn't wanna follow through when i saw that the actual quality was nothing advertised...

no, it's not AI... just a small group of scammers. the artist who helped me out with them in my paypal dispute went through each blog and showed me the similarities, even showed where some pieces across blogs were the exact same piece just recolored or traced... not to mention the stealing art of other ppl off furaffinity and trying to sell it as their own.

people need to be aware... these people stalk the "commissions" tag. they look for people who commission artists, and then PM them offering a commission. that's how they keep finding me. (yes, keep finding... i keep getting messages from more random blogs, always part of the same group.) they actively stalk the customers of others too, if they find someone popular. i've received messages from artists warning me about this as well...

so...yeah. it's a bigger operation than one person, but, it's all the same song and dance.
