Hey!! I respect the hustle for yourself as an artist, but I'm not actually looking for a new artist to commission at the moment (one big reason is because of a stupid, unresolved issue that I'm waiting for paypal to fix; they put me in the negatives after NOT recognizing a fraud case as fraud & instead just took money from me, which means I can't buy or send or recieve any money via paypal, & I dont have access to venmo or cashapp bc I'm Canadian. Im still waiting for paypal to review my case & get back to me).

My post was about trying to find the one, specific artist i had commissioned in the past specifically so I could message them, and get the old art piece they had done for me and save it on the phone I have now because I currently otherwise don't have access to it, but I would like to.

I'll post this though in case anybody is looking!

For my Furby Dress Pattern, I wanted the cover to be a small collaborative art piece. The top left furby was drawn by my little brother, the top right was drawn by a friend, I drew the center Furby, the bottom left was drawn by @shywizardflower and the bottom right was drawn by @lightlykos

I think it turned out really cute and I really enjoy all the different art styles :)

hi!! that one person that does tracing that you've called out @\shywizardflower has come to me when i had my commissions open to try and get me to commission them

i thought you'd like to know this information as well, considering the situation going on

all of their rules for commissions are pretty bad too, including no refunds with pieces being up and over $80

i gotta say looking at people like that getting commissions and scamming people while i've only gotten a couple sucks :(

It’s all so painfully obvious too. Three of their accounts messaged me almost back to back, and then when I started blocking they messaged from a fourth.

I’ve had a real artist go through the blogs and confirm it’s all one person, as far as posting the same art on diff blogs.

They tried to resell previously sold stolen furry art off FA as adoptables, deleted the post when called out of course. And they just keep doubling down on the same stuff over and over and over…

And astonishing, they are Ariel [diff last names] and in the Philippines on ALL of their PayPal accounts with bot-like email addresses! Huh! Oh and my bank card had a fraudulent charge on it within hours of my sending them money so I had to cancel it. 😞

Probably gonna have to post the PM screenshots. Anyway thanks for getting in touch. I knew I couldn’t be the only one, but it’s nice to have it confirmed. Solidarity against art scammers. 😊
