Did you end up reading the times review where Louis’ show got 4 out of 5 stars but the review itself was so insulting and rude and belittling to Louis, it’s like the reviewer hated that it was a good show? It is honestly like it hurt her to admit that Louis was good, the show was good. And the way she spoke about Harry in there and negatively compared Louis to him, it seems we know where her fantasies lie. Also, she doesn’t seem to know a whole lot about the area of music Louis’ songs rest in

And if she doesn’t think Louis has a distinctive voice, then I don’t know what to say to that because I could always pick out Louis’ voice over any of the other boys in 1D. Louis really hasn’t got the usual voice of the male vocalist. Some people I show Louis to think he sounds a bit like a girl because his voice is soft and naturally higher in tone in his chest voice than the male singers they typically listen to. Anyway, 4 out of 5 is good but her bias was already showing from the beginning. She was just so insulting, UK media really do treat Louis terribly and I can’t stand them, they don’t deserve Louis

Yeah, the UK media’s bias against Louis is ridiculous at this point. It’s the least subtle thing I’ve ever seen. There should never be an artist where you’re getting annoyed that they don’t suck because your preconceived notions about them are that influential....at that point, you’re not at all objective and can’t be taken seriously, as was the case with that reviewer.

I’ve also noticed that “journalists” who really like Harry tend to be the most vicious toward Louis (and the other boys, but especially Louis) Harry is clearly the most successful of the bunch, yet that doesn’t seem to be enough for them. Instead, they refuse to accept that the narrative of Harry being the ONLY talented or successful one (which has been consistently pushed by Harry’s team over the years as well) is not simply not true. All of the boys have had successes and all of the boys are very talented, but so many music journalists don’t want that to be true because it’s more fun and better clickbait to pit them all against each other and have one or two of the members be successes in the eyes of the public and the rest be failures. It’s gross and unfair.
