Loki who's a complete princess and makes Thor carry him whenever he gets too tired or when it's too hot out. And Thor never complains, just comments on how little his little brother is and whispers in his ear how easy he could lift him up and fuck him so hard and his feet wouldn't even touch the ground once, and he wouldn't even break a sweat. I love size difference thorki so much omg like I love little Loki being lifted up and fucked until he's a brainless mess

Thanks for the ask Skylar <3 I'm going to pick out the end of Reburial 1 Chapter 4, Forget Me Not :) Spoilers up to this point, obvi.

This is the chapter where Ron and Nat find out that Nat's encounter with the zombie in the basement of the water facility isn't going to be consequence free. (For Nat - Ron has already dealt with more than his fair share of the consequences to his health.)

Ron organizes help through Haru, and him and Nat see a back alley doctor - Laquita - who is supposed to be a safe contact to look at Nat's zombie flower infection, without ratting them out to the health authorities, or even just plain shooting them herself. But things go south when she finds out that Nat's infection isn't run of the mill stuff.

Laquita shoves them away, her shoulder to their chest, hitting hard enough that it makes Nat hit the back of their legs on the lid of the toilet. She thrusts her hand inside the medicine cabinet again, takes ahold of the gun—black market blaster model, handheld, modified, serial number filed off—and fumbles for the safety. Between the two of them, Nat and Ron are only carrying knives. He's just barely picking himself off the floor again, Nat is trapped between him and Laquita—they are running out of options, and fast. If Nat doesn't manage to disarm her, if this woman gets them at gunpoint, they're toast. Nat kicks for her shins. Pulls their knee up, into her stomach, feels her organs squish up against their bones. Lets the gun fall out of her hands, safety still on. Grabs for Laquita's braids, forces her head back, tears her mask off, and spits. Nat barely registers her crying out behind them, nor her retching as they whirl around to grab their shirt from Ron. Ron, who stares at them like he's staring death in the face, wide eyed and terrified. "She's dealt with," Nat tries to soothe him, even as their heart beats a mile a minute. "Come on, move, go." But the look doesn't leave his face.

I like this section because there's a lot happening here:

Nat hasn't mentioned that they're ex-mil by this point, but they identify the gun that Laquita pulls on sight.

They've demonstrated that they have combat training when they kicked Matcha's ass, but she was easy pickings. Laquita is still a civilian and clumsy with the gun, but she's an actual threat.

Despite their training, Nat doesn't just disarm her and leave it at that. They go straight for the nuclear option and infect her.

They take the look on Ron's face to be fear of the situation, but deep down, in the places they don't mention to the narration, they know it's directed at them :)

This is the point where Nat starts to get anxious about him leaving them, and sets the stage for Chapter 5 Fever Bright, their argument in it, and the eventual consequences for Ron. Fever Bright being a top contender for my favorite chapter, along with Rabbit Den.

And, as to Nat's name change! They're a recycled OC, previously non-human, and used to go by Neb. I realized in a 2am fugue that I could've called them Nebraska all along, hahaha. It's a nice tie-in to their whole Americana thing, in a world where the US are now South Canada. And this being their chosen name and not what their parents named them feels nicer than Nat picking what's traditionally a women's name, though to my understanding people in the US still mostly name girls after states, lol.

LISTEN. my dumbass went, "what if we tried this new scary thing." which means. fuck. i want all this going up TOGETHER. it needs to be cohesive to work. so. for the first time, late update. but i think... i think it'll be worth it. trust me. it's just the amount of content being worked on sort of needs one another to work and make sense. so, yeah. ideally i could get some out like now. but i think this is a puzzle piece that needs the other components.
